Revitalizant EX120 for Automatic Transmission
XADO EX120 Revitalizant for automatic transmissions. Designed for restorative wear protection of serviceable automatic transmission components and compatible with a wide range of ATF applications, including conventional automatics and systems such as Tiptronic®, Steptronic®, CVT and wet-clutch DSG where the vehicle manufacturer permits the applicable fluid type.
- Designed to protect working metal friction surfaces
- 20% greater active-agent concentration than XADO’s standard automatic-transmission gel revitalizant
- XADO states that the treatment does not change the normal viscosity or friction properties of compatible transmission fluids
Dosage by fluid capacity: 5–8 L = 1 syringe; 9–12 L = 2 syringes; 13–15 L = 3 syringes.
Do not use additives to mask a transmission with mechanical failure, burnt fluid, severe slipping or internal damage. Diagnose critical faults first.
Effects
- Rebuilds and restores metal parts and protects them from future wear, reduces friction
- Eliminates surfaces defects
- Reduces noise and vibration
- Increases performance reliability and prolongs service life of control gears
- Protection from extreme friction and heat
- Allows transmission to operate in the event of low transmission fluid
Application
Ensure the syringe is at room temperature so the contents flow freely. Add the necessary amount of the revitalizant into the transmission fluid reservoir. Drive the car normally. Revitalization is considered to be complete after 50 hours (approx. 1,500 km or 950 miles) of transmission operation.
Dosage
Oil system capacity, L 5-8 9-12 13-15 Number of syringes (8 ml), pcs 1 2 3 Treatment procedure One Time One Time One Time Note
A decrease in noise levels from the very first hour of operation is a sign that the revitalization process has begun.
Some automobiles with excessive transmission wear may require an extra dose of EX120, especially when improvement is noticed then symptoms return.
Revitalizant is compatible with all types of fluids for the automatic transmissions: Dexron®, Mercon®, Mopar®, CVT, etc. It does not enter into chemical reactions with transmission fluids or change their viscosity, friction or other physical-chemical properties.
The protective metal-ceramic coating is formed on any operative mechanism, however, if the state of the mechanism (part) is in critical condition (100% wear), the worn part should be replaced.
