Preventive care questions

What about electric and hybrid vehicles?

Electric and hybrid vehicles can have oil-lubricated gears. EX120 for gearboxes and reducers may be considered where the component uses compatible gear oil; confirm the exact unit, fluid and supplied instructions. ATF, e-drive fluids and shared motor-cooling circuits need separate compatibility checks. A hybrid also has a combustion engine: suitable XADO engine wear protection can be part of its maintenance. Select by the system being treated, not just the powertrain name.

Can I use XADO if my car has no symptoms?

Yes, suitable XADO wear-protection products have a preventive-care role. Check the exact vehicle, system, fluid specification and supplied label. For a new or rebuilt engine, also check running-in instructions and the vehicle manufacturer's requirements.

Should I add it before or after an oil change?

TotalFlush is used in the old engine oil before changing the oil and filter. Plan an AMC or EX120 wear treatment so its full treatment cycle can finish before the next oil change. Follow the instructions for your exact product; do not use one timing rule for every additive.

Do I need another treatment at every oil change?

Not automatically. Follow the repeat interval on your product label. XADO's AMC Maximum 225 ml reference instructions describe a 1,000–1,500 km treatment cycle and recommend repeat treatment after 100,000 km. Check that the supplied version matches those instructions. Continue normal vehicle servicing.

Can an additive replace servicing or mechanical repairs?

No. Keep using the specified oil and normal service schedule. Severe slipping, loss of drive, overheating or an oil-pressure warning needs diagnosis before treatment.

    During the regular car operation and driving on standard gasoline, deposits are unavoidably formed in the fuel system. These deposits decrease engine power, increase fuel consumption and toxicity of the exhaust gases, increase detonation risk and cause vibrations.

    Solution: regular cleaning of the fuel system.

    Accidental water entry or fueling with contaminated fuel may cause pump breakage, hanging-up of injector needles.

    Solution: revitalizant contained in the cleaner will reliably protect parts of fuel equipment, pump and injector against wear.

Shudder fix

2 years after service the gearbox on my Volvo S80 started to develop gearbox shudder which gradually became so bad that I went back to the service workshop. The upshot of it was that a single dose of xado was added. This gave immediate result and the issue disappeared for 6 months when it slowly returned. After a further 6 months something needed to be done. Another (second) dose of xado was added. Instant change. The shudder disappeared and it is now 3 weeks and the car drives like a new car. Hopefully this will last this tIme. Fingers crossed.

I have recently purchased revitalizants and AMC for my raptor 2019 at 70k miles.
I am loving it and seeing how my raptor drives way smoother.
Also feels like the torque improved! My normal mode sorta feel like sports mode! Hoping the 5w30 black edition will be available in Au so I can all the way xado for my oils!

Satisfied with the result

applied Xado on a elgrand 97 diesel engine with a mileage of about 400,000 km. fuel consumption, if it decreased, then a little, but the engine began to work like a clock, softly, quietly. Satisfied with the result.
